About TeenEdge Academy
Our Story
TeenEdge Academy was founded in 2022 with a simple belief: every student deserves focused, high-quality instruction in a small-group setting. What started as tutoring sessions with just 3 students in our first year has grown into a thriving academy serving around 30 students in 2026 across grades 5 through 12.
Over the past four years, we have continuously refined our teaching methods, curriculum sequencing, and schedule planning — always guided by what works best for the students in front of us. We've learned that consistency, structure, and meeting students where they are produces the strongest results.
Teaching Philosophy & Methodology
We meet students where they are
Whether a student is motivated and racing ahead, or hesitant and needing encouragement, our approach starts with understanding where they stand. We diagnose gaps, reinforce foundations, and build upward — never skipping steps.
Small groups, big attention
Our sessions are intentionally small so every student gets direct interaction with the instructor. We cap group sizes to ensure questions get answered, misconceptions get caught early, and no one falls behind.
Structured repetition with variety
We use a spiral approach — topics are revisited with increasing depth over time. Each session blends concept instruction, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. For grades 5–8, every session integrates both Math and English so students build both skill sets in parallel.
Outcomes that matter
Our students typically improve by a full letter grade. But beyond grades, we aim to build confidence, analytical thinking, and the study habits that carry students through high school and beyond.
Yearly Schedule
We organize our academic year into structured seasons. Each season has a clear focus, and new students can join at the start of any batch.
